For writers at all levels. Explore the power of line breaks in modern poetry. Susan is a poet, a professor at Idaho State University, and the poetry editor of Prompt Press.

Susan says, “In this workshop, we will read samples of recently published poems to examine how a handful of established authors harness the power of the line. In particular, how do poets writing today establish and vary rhythm in open verse? Next, we will experiment with the line in our own writing through structured writing prompts, and we will develop strategies to incorporate new techniques for lineation as part of revision”.

Advanced registration required ($25).

Hosted by Jackson Hole Writers with support from Center for Wonder.
