The North American Nature Photography Association (NANPA) will be holding a Nature Photography Celebration on May 20-22, 2018, at The Virginian, located near the heart of downtown Jackson Hole, WY.

The NANPA Nature Celebration is open to anyone interested in nature photography and is designed to educate photographers, professional and amateur, and promote an atmosphere of networking.

Celebration speakers will be discussing the state and future of photography, as well as, issues concerning the greater Yellowstone ecosystem. There will be keynote presentations from well-known photographers like Rick Sammon, Daniel Cox, and Geoff York and even local photographer, Henry Holdsworth. Attendees will be fascinated during sessions by bison, polar bear, and wolf researchers, Lightning Talks, demos, and so much more. Participants will even have time to gather together for gallery walks, impromptu photo shoots, and other fun activities. As part of the conference, participants will have the opportunity to check out the latest technology in photography from vendors such as: Canon, FUJIFILM, Gura Gear, Olympus, Panasonic, and many more. NANPA promotes the art and science of nature photography as a medium of communication, nature appreciation, and environmental protection. NANPA fosters excellence and ethical conduct in all aspects of our endeavors and especially encourages responsible photography in the wild.
