JacksonHoleLive! does it again!
What is “it”?!
Doing what they do best: scheduling great events and lining up incredible national acts for the Jackson Hole community to enjoy and remember!
Watch the action on our Snow King cams, especially this one!
Today is Sunday, June 16th–Father’s Day!–and they have a line-up to make any dad happy…
First on the list is RaptorFest, spear-headed by the superb and nationally-recognized Teton Raptor Center! This community celebration of birds of prey will run from 3-6 pm at the Snow King Ball Field. It offers food, fun, feathers, and festivity, for residents and visitors to the Hole. This unique community event helps support the Center’s education, research, and rehabilitation programs.
Next up will be the 14th Annual Crawfish Boil offering a huge helping of New Orleans culture! 2,000(!!!) pounds of crawfish with all the fixings will be the main course. Yuuummm!!!
There will also be the North Mississippi Allstars performing live! NMA is a nationally-recognized band steeped in American roots music and Hill Country Blues. For three decades they’ve been making blues-oriented rock ‘n roll, and they’re awesome!
Teaming up with NMA will be Futurebirds, from Athens, Georgia, providing an enriching concert accompaniment. Futurebirds offer a twangy Southern rock and reverb-soaked psychedalia sound mixed with multi-part vocal harmonies and lyrical slide guitar.
Tickets for the concerts are $5 and kids under 17 are FREE! Food and beverage vendors will be around too!
This Father’s Day is full of awesome fun!!!
